News in Sassari in parking and in the tracking of stops . They are the consequence of the maintenance work in the city streets carried out by the Mobility and Traffic Infrastructure sector with the aim of making travel safer and more usable, especially for pedestrians and bicycles.
After the milling and asphalting work completed last week in via Civitavecchia, between via Deffenu and via Galileo Galilei and in via Tempio between via Roma and viale Dante, here come the changes.
WHAT'S NEW – In via Civitavecchia, from via Deffenu to via Alghero , where the parking spaces were located diagonally on the left, the layout will be changed to a line on the right. In via Tempio , however, in Zone 30 from via Roma to via Zanfarino where the parking spaces were located diagonally on the left, due to the impossibility of using a stretch of pavement on the left at the moment, a pedestrian strip will be inserted on the right, next to the pavement, near which the parking spaces will be drawn in line , for a fee. In this stretch , the stop sign on via Diaz will be moved forward with the aim of improving its visibility . Again in via Tempio, from via Zanfarino to via Diaz , also here in Zone 30, the parking will be changed on both sides and the stop sign on viale Dante will be moved forward.
Other works have been done, for example in the construction site concerning the sidewalk of via Cavour, from via Ozieri to via Mazzini, on the left side, while previously works were carried out in those of via Civitavecchia, from via Deffenu to via Alghero on both sides, in via Tempio, between via Roma and via Zanfarino, on the left side and from via Zanfarino to viale Dante on the right side; finally in via Alghero, from via Napoli on the right side.
Other interventions will be carried out on short stretches of sidewalks in via De Nicola, via Catalacchino, viale Italia and via Londra.
