Sassari, massive brawl at the Pime reception center: all acquitted
The proof of the accused's responsibility was not considered to be fully achieved

The 13 defendants for the brawl that occurred at the Pime in Sassari in 2017 were acquitted. This morning in court, Judge Sara Pelicci issued the sentence with the formula of Article 530 of the Criminal Code, when the proof of the responsibility of the accused is not considered fully reached. Eight years ago, some non-EU citizens hosted by the reception center and several residents of the Santa Maria di Pisa neighborhood faced each other . There were fights, stones and firecrackers were thrown, with physical consequences such as fractures, head trauma and various wounds.
The reason for the clash was the alleged beating, at the end of a period of great tension, which occurred on October 27 to the detriment of a young foreigner . Three defendants were also charged with the crime of private violence due, according to the accusations, to the encirclement and kicking of the car of the manager of the facility, whose glasses had been taken off and who was addressed with the phrase "This is the pimp of the PIME".
The lawyers are Mariano Mameli, Letizia Doppiu Anfossi, Sabrina Mura, Martina Salaris, Gabriela Pinna Nossai, Giuseppe Onorato, Marco Palmieri, Pierluigi Olivieri, Guido Demartis and Marco Manca.
