590 kids, aged 14 to 18, participated in Sassari in the project "Not even with a flower" of education to legality against gender violence promoted by the local police in 13 high schools in the city. This morning in the Auditorium in via Monte Grappa the final data of the school path on the topic were released , also in the presence of the mayor Giuseppe Mascia and the commander of the Municipal Gianni Serra.

During the meeting , several artistic performances were held by boys and girls from 11 institutes , whose theme was precisely the perception by young people of violence against women and the tools to combat it.
More males (49.8%) than females (47.8%) chose to answer online the 22 questions proposed by the local police staff. The majority of participants were between 16 and 17 years old (48.3%), followed by the 14-15 age group (27.0%) and finally the 18 or older age group (24.7%).

There is a growing awareness of the punishability of violent acts with increasing age . Girls are more likely to recognize the punishability than boys, especially in the younger age groups, with a decrease in the percentage of "I don't know" as the years go by.

Girls and women seem to perceive more clearly that such acts are punishable by law than boys and men, especially in the younger age groups. School (the percentage is 27.2%) and social media (25.7%) are the main sources of learning on the topic, followed by the news (25.6%), family (14.1%) and friends (7.4%). Physical, psychological and verbal violence (40.6%), the option most indicated as constituting violence against women, violence towards a woman as such (10.9%), physical violence (8%) and 11 I don't know (6%).
