Two couples were in trouble after a night of patrols by Carabinieri officers from the Cagliari provincial command, with their operational and mobile units deployed in the field with the support of the Stampace, San Bartolomeo, and Pirri stations.

The police intervened at the market on Viale La Playa: security personnel reported a 53-year-old woman from Cagliari and a 33-year-old man from Assemini, both unemployed, who had committed a theft. The search uncovered various food items, worth a total of approximately €300, which the two had taken from the shelves. The stolen goods were recovered in full and returned to the facility's management.
Another Carabinieri team checked a Toyota Aygo with a cohabiting couple on board: a 50-year-old resident of Serramanna and a 49-year-old resident of Decimomannu, both unemployed. Checks on the license plate and chassis number revealed that the vehicle had been stolen on January 31st from a man from Cagliari.

The car was recovered and returned to its rightful owner, while the two occupants were charged with receiving stolen goods.
