She gives birth at home with the help of 118. It happened this morning in Sassari , around 11, when a 35-year-old woman's waters broke.
Having called 118, the woman was rescued by the nursing staff who arrived with the Inda vehicle in the Sant'Orsola neighborhood. As soon as they arrived, the woman gave birth to a baby girl weighing 3 kg who was given the name of Iris .
The 118 team, composed of the nurse Davide Ciavarella and the two first responders Silvana Brundu and Riccardo Serra, checked on the mother and the child, alerting the Operations Center of the incident so that the hospital could be notified immediately. The mother and child are fine and are now entrusted to the care of the health personnel of the San Pietro clinics who waited for them at the entrance.
