An open letter to the President of the Council of Ministers Giorgia Meloni , to report the serious socio-economic situation in which the Province of Sassari finds itself .

The extraordinary commissioner Pietro Fois asks the Prime Minister for an interlocutory to underline the criticalities that the territory and the municipalities face every day , weighed down by the emergencies of expensive bills and the increase in the cost of raw materials that slow down, and in some cases block, building procedures of primary importance and urgency.

The letter, also addressed to the Minister for European Affairs, for cohesion policies and for the NRRR Raffele Fitto, and to the Minister for Education Giuseppe Valditara, highlights the problems that risk irremediably compromising the drive for investments that can generate the Pnrr (National Recovery and Resilience Plan).

"The vast territory of the Province of Sassari, the largest by extension in Italy, - explains the administrator Fois in the letter, - is in the extreme condition of not being able to guarantee the minimum services to secure the over eighty school complexes ," more than two thousand and three hundred kilometers of provincial roads and several hundred works and bridges ”.

The Province asks for an urgent convocation to the ministerial summits, so that an immediate and decisive solution can be evaluated for the entire territory of competence.

“ Urgent maneuvers are needed to unblock the stalemate of millionaire jobs , both in terms of traffic and school construction.- reiterates Administrator Fois. We hope that the problems mentioned above will be dealt with promptly ".
