A story full of anomalies. Yesterday in court in Sassari, a case of sexual violence that allegedly occurred in September 2020 was discussed.

When a 70-year-old non-Sardinian woman gets a flat tire in her car in the city at the junction for the 131. She calls for assistance and from that moment, as the prosecutor Gianni Caria explained, a three-hour journey to Sassari begins, with the 50-year-old driving the emergency vehicle, at the end of which the woman runs to the police to file a complaint .

The first episode, reported by the victim, would be a groping on the bottom made by the man to the lady when she was getting into the car. The driver, according to the accusation, leads the passenger on a sort of tour of the city before finally changing the tire.

A journey that is defined as "without any justification" and that, before ending with two new tires instead of just one, would have led to another groping of the bottom and breasts and finally to the arrival in the area of the former cement factory . A place that the public prosecutor defines as "an area for couples and misfits" and where the man would have made an explicit sexual offer to the 70-year-old.

She refuses and runs away towards Golfo Aranci where she was supposed to board and, as soon as she reaches her destination, she files a complaint.

The sentence requested by the prosecutor is two years and six months , a request that the civil party, represented by the lawyer Gabriele Satta, agreed with, who also asked for 10 thousand euros in compensation for his client . Defense lawyer Gian Marco Mura, who justified the alleged groping with the desire to help the woman, given her short stature and her arm busy with her cell phone, to get into the vehicle, had a completely different opinion. He then recalled how it was the injured party who extended the trip because she was not satisfied with the estimate of the tire dealer she had met. The panel, presided over by judge Giancosimo Mura, with Monia Adami and Sara Pelicci on the sides, adjourned the case until December for replies and sentencing.
