A griffon vulture in distress was rescued by the Forestry Corps in Bosa. The animal, located among the houses, was severely weakened and unable to fly on its own.
The officers recovered him. Although he had no obvious injuries or lesions, he appeared severely weakened and was immediately transferred to the Bonassai Wildlife Recovery Center, managed by the Forestas Agency. He will undergo the necessary tests and treatment to allow his long-awaited return to the wild.
This operation marks the fifth recovery of a griffon vulture carried out in the area in September alone.
