Sassari, fire in a dilapidated building

A fire broke out this morning in an abandoned building, in via delle Conce in Sassari, near the fountain of the same name.

Fear of the flames that destroyed the dilapidated building. The property, in fact, is located near a petrol station. Burnt mattresses, clothes, paper and waste of all kinds.

Also on fire plastic bags and household appliances placed among the vegetation, outside the uninhabited building.

No injuries or intoxications were recorded. The firefighters of the provincial command immediately intervened and, once they found the absence of people inside, they were able to proceed with the extinguishing and reclamation operations. About eight thousand liters of water used to tame the stake.

On the spot, the teams intervened with the help of a fire engine, a tanker and a country car. The causes of the fire have yet to be ascertained, but the arson is not excluded. It will be up to the judicial authority to trace the origin of the fire.
