The manager of a local club in Sassari was arrested for drug dealing. Several reports had been received by law enforcement regarding the strange comings and goings of people known to be drug users, who were entering the club without taking any food or drink.

State police officers then searched the club and found cash, hidden away separately from the cash register. The man was unable to explain the source of the money. Behind the counter, the officers then found 82.15 grams of marijuana , divided into various inflorescences.

Inside the pantry, hidden in the oven of a gas stove, a precision scale was discovered, with residues attributable to cocaine, and a bag containing 4 grams of cocaine .

Also found were numerous cellophane bag scraps, which police believe were used to package the drugs. The man, also considering his prior criminal record, was arrested for possession of narcotics with intent to distribute.
