Sassari, drug dealer arrested in the historic center
The man was caught by the police while he was walking away in a suspicious manner, with several bags containing marijuana in his backpack

The State Police reports a foreign citizen in Sassari for possession and dealing of drugs .
The man was surprised by the police officers in the historic center while he was suspiciously moving away from the police. Once caught by the police, and once it was established that he had numerous previous drug-related convictions, he was subjected to a search .
The officers found some plastic bags hidden both inside the backpack and in the pants whose contents, it was suspected, were marijuana . They also discovered 200 euros divided into banknotes of different denominations .
Taken to the police station it was possible to certify that the substance was indeed marijuana for a total weight of 65 grams. For these reasons the foreigner was reported at liberty for possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing.
