Sassari: does not stop at checkpoint and crashes into carabinieri car, two soldiers injured

Night of fear in Sassari for two soldiers of the Radiomobile Nucleus of the local Company. The episode occurred in the Monte Rosello neighborhood, to be precise in Corso Pascoli, where at 2:30 a Ford Fiesta did not stop at the checkpoint .

The carabinieri launched a chase, which continued at high speed until Via Pavese, where the head-on collision between the small car and the military car put an end to the escape attempt.

The Carabinieri, although injured, got out of the car and arrested the driver of the Fiesta, a 29-year-old from Sassari with no criminal record.

After the arrest , the two carabinieri were forced to seek medical care at the Santissima Annunziata Emergency Room for the bruises sustained in the collision. They were assigned several days of treatment . The arrested man was also slightly bruised in the accident. This morning the direct trial, the 29-year-old is being defended by the lawyer Costanza Uras.
