Thirty-four companies were inspected, two suspended, and €43,000 in fines were imposed. This is the summary of the inspections carried out in the summer of 2025 by the Carabinieri of the Sassari Labor Inspectorate, in collaboration with the Carabinieri stations of the Sassari Provincial Command, and together with the Territorial Labor Inspectorate.

The military's mission was to verify the legality of employment relationships and the proper implementation of health and safety regulations. A total of 199 positions were inspected, and out of 34 companies, 15 (34%) were found to be irregular. The inspections covered the entire province, particularly Sassari, Alghero, Aglientu, Badesi, Berchidda, Bonorva, Illorai, Ittireddu, Mores, Olbia, Olmedo, Ossi, Pattada, Santa Maria Coghinas, Santa Teresa Gallura, Sant'Antonio di Gallura, Stintino, and Valledoria.

Most of the violations involved failure to train employees, failure of the Head of the Prevention and Protection Service to meet the requirements, failure to appoint a competent doctor, and failure to subject workers to a preventive health check to ensure they are fit for duty.

In one case, a failure to assess risks and, consequently, the failure to adopt a Risk Assessment Document were also discovered. This transgression led to the suspension of business activity, as was the case for another company that employed more than 10% of its workforce illegally .

Finally, seven companies were found to have installed video surveillance systems suitable for remote monitoring of employees without the necessary authorizations and in violation of the workers' statute.
