In Sassari the eleventh edition of the “Corsa in rosa” , a sporting and social event promoted by the “Currichisimagna” association in collaboration with the Uisp of Sassari , with the aim of turning the spotlight on the disturbing phenomenon of gender-based violence .

The event was opened by the Band of the “Sassari” Brigade , directed by Chief Sergeant Andrea Cardia, who performed the Hymn of Mameli and “Dimonios”, the famous hymn of the Red Devils.

The Army took part in the two foot races (one amateur and the other competitive) with a large number of soldiers from the "Sassari".

The competitive race, held over a distance of six kilometers within the city circuit, saw the participation, among others, of some athletes of different nationalities, to underline the inclusive nature of the initiative.

Thanks to the race time recorded at the finish line, Lieutenant Salvatore Ragonese , officer of the 152nd “Sassari” infantry regiment, conquered the third place overall in the general classification of the competition.

On the first step of the podium, in the master 40 category, was the chief sergeant Mario Antonio De Vita, a non-commissioned officer in the Command and Tactical Support Department of the Brigade.
