Great satisfaction of the mayor of Alghero Mario Conoci for the release of the last lot of the Sassari-Alghero.

The executive project has been approved and the 238 million euros necessary to carry out the work are also available .

«Respected the schedule that we had agreed upon in the prefecture which envisaged, within this phase, the adaptation of the executive project and the simultaneous procurement of resources with the updating of the economic framework. In September, the tender for the execution of the work will be published with European evidence, which can be awarded in March 2024, with Anas foreseeing the start of works as early as May», comments Mario Conoci.

«It is a first important result, fruit of the work of the territory and of everyone's will to complete a work that is also a priority on the regional agenda, as demonstrated by the rapid green light signed by President Solinas. With the construction of the last lot of the Sassari-Alghero line, the link road for the airport and the northern section of the ring road, the viability of the region will be improved and the face of the city will change, making it more livable for residents and tourists. A pride for us to have stubbornly wanted this work, stopped for too many years, together with the whole territory and to see it progress as planned».
