Kidnapping for the purpose of extortion, torture, and assault: these are the charges that led to the arrest of the thirty-two-year-old man, who was stopped today by the Carabinieri in the historic center of Sassari.

The soldiers rushed to an apartment in Vicolo Bertolinis where there was a twenty-two-year-old woman who, according to what emerged, was the man's partner.

The young woman had a swollen face and facial trauma and was taken to the police station while the suspect is now in Bancali.

The validation will take place on Monday before Judge Gian Paolo Piana, with Angelo Beccu acting as prosecutor and Massimiliano Tore as defense attorney.
