At 14, he threatened to kill the police after trying to steal an electric bicycle from a non-EU rider.

It happened on the night between March 28 and 29 in via Pascoli in Sassari, outside a club, when the teenager, together with an adult, approached the person of Middle Eastern origin and, pointing the knife at him, attempted to steal his work vehicle.

But the rider asked for help by calling the customers of the business who called the Carabinieri. The latter, arriving on the scene, stopped the couple, receiving in return spitting and insults from the minor. Trying to escape identification, the very young man, according to the accusations, allegedly uttered phrases towards the military such as "Don't scare me. When I'm 18 I'll kill you, I'll smash your face".

The arrest of the 14-year-old, assisted by the lawyer Federica Petretto, was validated by the juvenile court that ordered his transfer to the community. The trial for the adult is taking place in a separate venue.
