In Oristano it is already Sartiglia. The Carpenters already have the componidori: Fabrizio Manca, 55 years old, will lead the race on Tuesday 13 February 2024 accompanied by his longtime companions Corrado Massidda and Ignazio Lombardi.

President Gino Mugheddu managed to keep the name of the chosen knight hidden until the last moment. Then shortly after 8pm the official presentation of the componidori to the entire guild: Fabrizio Manca, together with Corrado Massidda and Ignazio Lombardi, was welcomed with hugs and applause.

Lots of emotion and enthusiasm skyrocketing for one of the most loved teams in the world of Sartiglia. Expert riders, capable of providing emotions and thrills both in via Duomo and in via Mazzini, have already led the event. In 2015 Corrado Massidda was the head of the race for the Farmers' Guild, while in 2020 it was Ignazio Lombardi who wore a top hat and camellia, always with the white and red ribbons of San Giovanni. With Fabrizio Manca the colors change but the emotion and satisfaction remain the same as the 55 year old commented, with 32 rides behind him.

«An indescribable joy» said Manca. Now the celebrations continue, then the team will immediately begin to intensify training and preparations in view of the event.
