Fire in the Sarroch mountains in the Perd'e Sali area.

The fire , which started around 10.30 in the morning, is devastating the countryside in the area , and has affected some homes at the foot of the mountain . The buildings were evacuated as a precaution.

The Barracelli di Sarroch, the Fire Brigade and a Canadair which arrived a few minutes ago are on site and are taking steps to put out the flames fueled by the strong mistral .

The causes of the fire are still being investigated.
