This, in extreme synthesis, is what Sandro Mallus, 55 years old from Sarroch, claimed in front of the public prosecutor Giangiacomo Pilia who questioned him as part of the investigation for concealment of a corpse and aggravated fraud.
On August 28th of last year, the Carabinieri discovered that the man, after the death of his elderly mother, had hidden her in the freezer to continue collecting his pension for about two years.
