Sarroch, fire destroys a wooden and sheet metal hut

A fire that broke out this morning in Sarroch in the Barracca de susu area destroyed a country cottage.

Firefighters, agents of the forestry corps, agents of the local police of Sarroch and barracelli of Villa San Pietro intervened on the spot.

There would be no injured people and animals, the damage to the small building made of wood and sheet metal was considerable.

Firefighters are still working to secure the area and clear the land. The cause of the fire is yet to be clarified.

According to the first investigations, the blaze was caused by the blade of a brushcutter : the tool was seized.
