Race against time to urgently transfer a pregnant woman hospitalized in Sassari due to the threat of preterm triplets.

The woman was transported from Alghero airport to Pescara with a Falcon 50 of the 31st Wing of the Italian Air Force.

"The plane - announced the Air Force -, which took off in the early afternoon from the Ciampino military airport, then reached the airport of Alghero in just over an hour. The woman was boarded assisted by a medical team and accompanied by a family member, the Falcon 50 then immediately left for Pescara airport, from where the patient was subsequently transported by ambulance to the Santissima Annunziata Hospital in Chieti ".

The emergency take-off, requested by the Prefecture of Sassari, is the fourth urgent medical flight carried out by the crews of the Air Force in the last 48 hours.
