In the Senate, the green light is given to the amendments that release the funds to repair Sardinia's roads and infrastructure damaged by bad weather.

This is 5 million euros which will be provided by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, which will be used to renovate the road routes in the Sardinian territories affected by the " exceptional meteorological events of May 2023 ".

The approval was announced by the Sardinian parliamentarian Dario Giagoni (Lega), who speaks of a «sign of concreteness and punctuality» from the ministry led by Matteo Salvini: «The approval of amendments in the Senate of the Asset Bill which streamlines the procedures is positive for strategic investments in our territory. Among these, 5 million euros for the renovation of road infrastructure damaged by the exceptional meteorological events of May 2023 in Sardinia", in order to provide "answers to the needs of the territories".
