Staff from the Sassari Police Headquarters have delivered to the Tempio prosecutors an initial report on the alleged assault suffered in Malta by Claudia Chessa (18 years old) last January 23, attributed to her boyfriend Alessio Lupo.

The young man, 28 years old, from Arzachena like the alleged victim, was reported by the State Police for the crimes of threats and injuries and is now under investigation.

THE YOUNG MAN'S ADMITTANCE: "I HIT HER"

The investigation was launched on the basis of a complaint filed yesterday by the girl's father. Claudia Chessa (hospitalized in the Mater Dei hospital in Msida, Malta) claims to have thrown herself from a hotel window (resulting in serious fractures) to escape a brutal attack by her boyfriend. The alleged victim also stated that the boy had tried to suffocate her with a pillow.

THE FATHER'S STORY: DIVE INTO THE VOID TO SAVE HIMSELF

The police report is on the table of the Tempio prosecutors who now have to evaluate how to proceed, given that the facts occurred abroad and that there is not yet a complaint signed by the victim. In any case, Alessio Lupo's position is complicated.

The boy, before the judges of the Valletta Court, allegedly admitted to having hit his girlfriend. The Maltese judiciary also contests the possession of drugs, in the hotel room where the attack allegedly took place there was cocaine.
