Every year, inappropriate exams account for at least 20% of all tests. An orthopedist warns his colleagues: "It's a waste of money."

"Too many useless tests. Dear colleagues, let's not waste time and money." The appeal from an orthopedic surgeon from Carloforte, Marco Conte, has reignited the debate on inappropriate prescriptions on the island.
It is estimated that unnecessary tests represent at least 20% of the total every year.
All of this has consequences for patients and the regional healthcare system.
