After it has reached its peak power, the African anticyclone Charon will begin to weaken starting from the northern regions with a consequent thermal decrease that will affect half of Italy.

These are the forecasts of Antonio Sanò, of iLMeteo.it, who confirms that even today, after yesterday's various heat records, today high temperatures will be recorded again, with over 40°C in the Centre-South and the Northeast, as in Bologna and Ferrara. But above all Sardinia and Sicily will be the most "fiery", with the 45-46 ° C expected in the inland areas.

An exceptional heat wave which however seems to subside, at least temporarily, starting tomorrow when Charon will begin to lose ground in the North and will move its fiery tongue towards the southern regions. Therefore, from a thermal point of view there will be a decrease of a few degrees in the Centre-North and a new and gradual increase in the South, especially over the weekend.

In short, still a difficult weekend for Sardinia with peaks of 39-41°C in many cities.
