Sardinia continues to burn: 24 fires in a few hours

Twenty-four fires extinguished in Sardinia on Sunday 21 August 2022 .
In five locations, given the extent of the flames, air vehicles also took off to support the ground teams coordinated by the Forestry Corps.
In total, about fifteen hectares of land went up in smoke in a few hours.
The most challenging fronts in Villaputzu , in the locality of Eringiana, where the fire covered an area of about 8 hectares of reeds. Also in Villaputzu, in the Lungo flumini area, the flames also attacked some cultivated land.
