Today is a day of mourning, and many have gathered around his parents and brother at the funeral home on Via Padre Pio.
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. in the Basilica, while investigations are continuing to clarify the circumstances of the accident. Initial findings suggest that the young man lost control of his Yamaha at the exit of a curve a few meters from the Church of Santa Severa, a devastating impact that left him with no chance of survival.
