Mistral winds are fueling the fires between the Oristano area and southern Sardinia. Several fires broke out this afternoon, requiring the intervention of the Forestry Corps.

In Santa Giusta , already affected by a fire yesterday, in the "S'Ungroni de Mandas" area, a Superpuma helicopter took off from the Fenosu base. Personnel from the GAUF (Fire Analysis and Utilization Group) of Oristano were also on site.

A second fire broke out in Serramanna , requiring helicopter intervention. The same thing happened in San Nicolò d'Arcidano .

This morning in the province of Nuoro there was a fire in Siniscola in the Tanca Altara area.
