Anyone who does not respect the rules of the road and will therefore be sanctioned will help to secure the territory. Translated: half of the proceeds that will come from penalties for violating the rules of the road during the whole of 2023 will be used to improve road signs. This was decided by the Municipality of Santa Giusta.

It's all written in the council resolution number 28 of 5 April. The Municipality, as required by law, has the right to decide to allocate all or part of the 50 percent share of the proceeds. The Authority will use the resources for two purposes: for replacement, modernization, upgrading and maintenance of road signs but also for the purchase of goods for the improvement of road traffic. «The town needs these interventions - comments Pierpaolo Erbì, councilor for Public Works of the Municipality of Santa Giusta, also deputy mayor - For example, almost all the mirrors, which are now outdated, need to be replaced. Many are destroyed."

A total of four policemen are now operational in Santa Giusta: «But this has been a very short time - Erbì continues - For ten years we were without the local police, only the person in charge was present but she also took care of other things. Now, however, two have been hired by our Municipality, the other two are under agreement. One comes from the Municipality of Villaurbana, the other from that of Narbolia. In short, after a long time the country is more monitored. Good news given that in Santa Giusta for two years now there has also been a lack of barracelli, this after the dissolution of the company wanted by the prefecture of Oristano after having found some anomalies. The matter will be discussed at the next City Council meeting. However, the date has not yet been set. The minority advisors on the matter presented a question a few days ago.
