Denounced and sanctioned for driving under the influence of alcohol and without having a license with him. This is the fate of a 43-year-old from San Vito who was stopped yesterday by the carabinieri driving a Citroen. At the check he appeared not very lucid and the military subjected him to ethilometric tests which tested positive with an alcohol value equal to 2.85 grams per liter in the first test, 3.03 in the second and 2.92 in a third and final test . In short, he drove with a BAC that was around 6 times the maximum limit allowed.

The car was confiscated, while the license was not withdrawn as the man did not have it with him. Hence the sanction.
