San Teodoro, caretta caretta lays its eggs in Lu Impostu

An exceptional event for the Gallura area, tonight, on the beach of Lu Impostu in San Teodoro . A specimen of Caretta caretta has chosen the beautiful Teodorino beach to lay its eggs, for Sardinia this is the fifth nest.

The Amp Tavolara Punta Coda Cavallo gave the news. The discovery at one o'clock this night when a person alerted the Olbia CP who in turn contacted the Forestry Corps and, finally, the biologists of the Marine Protected Area who, thanks to the indications , found the nest , as per protocol, promptly delimited and secured.
