A boy from San Teodoro, Danilo Sulas, 22, was found dead this morning at the bottom of a well in the hamlet of Lutturai.
The causes of the tragedy are still being investigated but from the first reconstructions it could have been a fatal accident. It is thought that the young man tried to save his dog who accidentally fell into the cavity, without being able to get back up. The animal was found at the bottom.
It was the father who called for help and the intervention of the Siniscola Fire Brigade was necessary to empty the well and try to extract the body, the recovery operations are still ongoing.
An ambulance from the white cross of San Teodoro arrived on the spot and later a medicalized vehicle from Siniscola. The Carabinieri of San Teodoro are currently on the scene awaiting the arrival of the prosecutor from Tempio Pausania.
