Also political reactions after the morning of inconvenience, chaos and tensions at the San Benedetto market in Cagliari , where an electrical failure was recorded on Saturday morning which prevented operators from raising the shutters for over three hours .

The center-left of the city announced a question to Mayor Paolo Truzzu's council on the incident .

«The San Benedetto market is the largest civic market in the city – reads a note released by the opposition – and there are many operators who operate them (180 operators) and customers who, especially on Saturday mornings, go there to their spending», but «this closure caused serious problems for the operators' coffers since the market was only reopened around 9.30». Therefore, the centre-left is asking the administration for "a postponement to Mondays and, if necessary, also on weekends, after the pits are closed to the public on Saturday, of all maintenance work".

Furthermore, the question urges the junta to provide "the reasons for this maintenance work communicated very late to the operators via a certified email" and to " evaluate compensation for all operators who have suffered damage ".

Following the signatures of the promoters: Marco Benucci and Marzia Cilloccu, Rita Polo, Giulia Andreozzi, Francesca Ghirra, Andrea Dettori, Fabrizio Marcello, Matteo Massa, Guido Portoghese, Francesca Mulas, Matteo Lecis Cocco Ortu, Camilla Soru and Anna Puddu.
