Samugheo, fire in the night in a lumber yard

Fire on New Year's Eve in Samugheo.

Around 4 in the morning, the Operations Room of the Command of the Fire Brigade of Oristano received the request for urgent technical assistance for a fire.
The flames engulfed a wood and household goods depot, with 2 LPG bottles inside, of a house. The house owner's car was parked next to the depot.
Two operational squads intervened on the spot, one from the headquarters of the Oristano Command and one from the Sorgono Fire Brigade detachment, Nuoro Command.
The operators tamed the flames, preventing it from spreading to the entire building and machine. The temperature of the roof covering the woodshed was constantly monitored and the LPG cylinders involved and the whole area were made safe.
The causes of the fire are being investigated by the ROS VVF (responsible for rescue operations).
