Controls take place in the port of Porto Torres aimed at verifying the presence of boats owned by Russian entrepreneurs. The war in Ukraine, besieged by Putin's army troops, triggered a series of measures also by Italy which started the seizures of the oligarchs' assets.

The Port Authority of Turritana, under the command of Gabriele Peschiulli, has already authorized the operation of control and verification of the boats that may be moored in the tourist port or in other docks of the port. An inspection supported by some operators aimed at identifying units flying the Russian and Ukrainian flags, or boats that have passed through the port in the last period. The local Guardia di Finanza is also on alert.

From Rome, the Ministry of the Interior has issued a directive that blocks the free movement of Russian boats. For now there is no news of any intervention by the police on the seizure of some of these boats. A market, the Russian one, which does not usually choose the port of Porto Torres as the landing point for their yachts.
