The trial (before the judges of Tempio) for three men, all of Romanian nationality, accused of the robbery at the Pink Bar in Bassacutena will begin at the end of November .
The preliminary hearing judge sent Gheorghe Vasile and his alleged accomplices, Aurelian Bivolaru and Flavin Balota , to trial. The events occurred on the morning of 23 May 2022. The three are charged with the crimes of theft and robbery.
The alleged perpetrators of the failed robbery were surprised by the owner inside the bar and tobacconist's in the Tempio district. The owner of the establishment, entrepreneur Nicola Pirredda, with his rifle drawn, urged the alleged bandits to lie down on the ground while waiting for the police to arrive. However, one of the three, Vasile, according to the documents, attempted to hit Pirredda's wife with a crowbar. At that point , the man responded by firing a shotgun, hitting the robber in the side and right leg .
Nicola Pirredda, the investigating judge ruled some time ago, acted in self-defense and his case was dismissed . The trial for the three will now begin.
The robbery victims will join the civil action, represented by lawyer Sergio Milia. The three Romanians have reportedly been missing for months.
