Roads as racing tracks: 200 penalties in Porto Torres

In Porto Torres the command of the Local Police has intensified checks in the summer, a vast series of checks that have affected the speed of vehicles on city roads, with over 200 penalties for non-compliance with the limits and other irregularities .

The violations were recorded with the electronic detection system, 12 speed camera positions , concentrated in some sensitive points of the city, such as via Tramontana, via Dell'Industria, the stretch of via Ponte Colombo and on the former state road 131, instruments that have immortalized cars whizzing past the allowed limits.

Further administrative investigations concerned the premises and commercial activities in the areas affected by the "nightlife" with particular attention to the occupation of public land, where fines even reach 140 euros, with the risk that, in the event of a repeat offense, far more serious penalties.
