"Seatbelt" is the name of the European campaign organized by the international cooperation network Roadpol, which also includes Italy and which focuses on the correct use of seat belts and restraint devices in general.

During the initiative, in the first ten days of March, the Traffic Police department for Sardinia employed 42 patrols throughout the territory and in particular along the main road arteries of the island.

232 vehicles were checked for a total of 115 infringements of the Highway Code. In particular, 99 infringements were contested, 96 of which for failure to use seat belts and 3 for failure to use child restraint devices.

A total of 556 points reduced, 7 licenses withdrawn and 2 drug seizures.
