Risk of insecticides in milk and forage: flurry of checks in Nuoro and Oristano

Flurry of checks by the Nas carabinieri of Cagliari and Sassari , as part of the ordinary control activities of the correct application of plant protection products to protect public health.

The military carried out inspections in a dozen farms and livestock farms located in the territories of the provinces of Nuoro and Oristano , to ascertain any contamination from insecticides or other harmful products on milk and fodder, potentially dangerous for public health.

The samples taken were then sent to the Zooprophylactic Institute of Sassari for the appropriate analyses. However, the results of the tests excluded the presence of dangerous or harmful substances for people.
