Some jerry cans, plant pots, dirty branches and leaves, handles and part of the bag's zip. It is on these finds, all found on Thursday 18 July, that the Cagliari RIS investigations are focusing on the death of Francesca Deidda, the forty-two-year-old who disappeared from San Sperate last 10 May and whose body was found inside a bag last week in the countryside of San Vito.

According to the prosecution, the woman was killed by her husband Igor Sollai, 43 years old in prison for voluntary homicide and concealment of a corpse. The investigations by the Carabinieri specialists began this morning and the lawyer Gianfranco Piscitelli who represents Andrea Deidda, Francesca's brother, was present.

"They took swabs to detect DNA on the caps of the jerry cans found, on the handles of the bag and on some buckets that contained ornamental plants", said the lawyer, "we will have to wait a few days for the results". Both the element of the tanks but above all the plants had not yet emerged. Shortly before the molecular dog sniffed the bag, the carabinieri found some empty vases in the open countryside. Having discovered the bag containing the remains of Francesca's body, the soldiers realized that the contents of those vases had been placed near the bag perhaps to cover or hide it.

A decidedly particular operation on which the Carabinieri intend to shed full light. On some of the plants there is also a barcode which will certainly allow you to trace the place where they were purchased.
