It was announced by the president of the Region, Alessandra Todde. Tomorrow it will be approved: the regional council will say yes to the moratorium on renewable energy plants in Sardinia. We learn this from sources close to the presidency.

In the draft of the bill that will come to the attention of the executive during the meeting in Viale Trento it will be foreseen that until the regional landscape plan is adapted and the law on suitable areas is approved, safeguard measures will be activated, with the prohibition on the construction of electricity production plants from renewable sources that jeopardize the landscape, territory and lead to land consumption.

The objective, as reiterated several times by the president who announced the arrival of the bill in the council yesterday, is to curb speculation and not the ecological transition.
