Renewables, committees on the attack: «They want to sink Pratobello in compliance with the Draghi Decree»

The majority remains open to changes to the Suitable Areas bill proposed by the opposition, including references to the popular initiative proposal signed by 210,000 Sardinians. However, the promoting committees of Pratobello 24 are far from satisfied.

This is what emerged from this morning's meeting of the delegation with all the group leaders of the Regional Council. "We have had confirmation that the choice to sink Pratobello belongs to the parties of the majority - explained Michele Zuddas, lawyer of the network of Committees - all this to respond to the Draghi decree, which is the objective that the parties of the Campo Largo are pursuing and will not stop until they have achieved it ".

Zuddas has however launched an appeal to the group leaders: «Revise article 3 of the Suitable Areas bill which allows exemptions to build plants in unsuitable areas».

And it is precisely on this point that the clear opening of the center-left has arrived. In particular, Francesco Agus of the Progressisti: «On our part, the will to open a dialogue has never been lacking, both with the opposition and with the movements. Now, in a short time, we must be able to improve the law by listening to suggestions». In particular, says Agus, «I see in article 3 a possible object of modification, I am also thinking of the energy communities at the center of a proposal of the center-right. In the next few hours we will understand from the opposition the most important points of their reasoning». A minority that is now reunited precisely with the objective of formulating a complete proposal.

Even in this case the souls are different and a unified line is difficult to find. Alessandro Sorgia of the League supports the line of the Committees on the need to discuss Pratobello 24 in the Chamber also with the possibility of modifying it . Likewise, for Gianni Chessa of Forza Italia «the willingness to discuss the popular proposal in the Chamber is needed, giving priority to the 210 thousand signatures».

For Umberto Ticca of the Reformers «the regulatory framework of the Suitable Areas must be modified to arrive at the best possible law on a fundamental issue for the development of Sardinia».

Certainly, «the resistance of the decree law 45 is weak, we will try to strengthen the system and there will be a series of corrections, we will try to reset this law».

The FdI group leader Paolo Truzzu explains what the committees reiterated, that is, that the Pratobello is essential and for this reason they are asking for discussion in the Chamber : «I remember that precisely for this reason we brought the proposal to the Chamber in the form of amendments, because in our opinion it contains essential principles, on these we will build a proposal for the majority to understand if the opening can lead to something positive for Sardinia: a democratic energy transition with respect for the territory ». As for the opposition proposal, «the principle from which to start again for us remains the Statute, and our primary competence in urban planning, which is the same one established by the Pratobello proposal, and is the only weapon to defend and protect the territory . If we succeed, we will probably be able to find a compromise».
