Computer system in haywire, healthcare for one morning (almost) plunges back into the 1980s and acceptances for exams and visits are done by hand. It happens in Cagliari hospitals but, according to what transpires, the problem is also extended to other Sardinian structures.

This morning in outpatient clinics and specialized departments long queues of patients were created waiting to be able to receive services. Even those who had booked, with a fixed time, are forced to wait a long time.

It was the acceptance that went haywire: the connection between the Cup system (single booking center) and that of the analysis laboratories was lost . The tellers are forced to proceed by hand: in this way they try to dispose of the user, then the documentation on the ticket will be managed with the computers at a later time, when the problem will be solved.

The repercussions on the timing of exams and samplings are obvious: expectations have increased. One of the affected hospitals is the Policlinico, from where it is insured: having overcome the bottleneck which does not depend on the Aou, but on the regional circuit, the times for the delivery of the reports are the ordinary ones.
