Tempio prosecutors have requested an indictment for a 48-year-old man arrested earlier this year in the Gallura town on charges of sexual assault and robbery. The victim, a 40-year-old woman from Tempio, was threatened with a knife and then repeatedly raped inside a shack in the woods of Limbara. The victim, the man's partner, was hospitalized. In addition to the incident in the Limbara shack, charges are also raised against a raid on the victim's home, where she and a relative were tied up and threatened. The woman was forced to flee. The indicted man (defended by criminal lawyer Alberto Sechi) has already been convicted and arrested for violence and abuse committed in Olbia, Aglientu, and Aggius. The first hearing before the preliminary hearing judge has been scheduled for January 22nd.
