Sardinia is preparing to say goodbye to the weekend, with the last hours of Sunday expected to be marked by bad weather. For today, the Decentralized Functional Center of Civil Protection has issued, starting from 6:00 PM until 11:59 PM, a yellow code weather alert (ordinary criticality) for hydrogeological risk .
The areas affected are Gallura and Logudoro . The last alert on the Island three days ago, with the alarm that affected the areas of Iglesiente, Campidano and Flumendosa Flumineddu.
The Civil Protection service of Cagliari has, as usual, made known the rules of conduct during stormy phenomena : "it is advisable to stay in your homes, if you are in a basement or on the ground floor, go up to the upper floors, limit car transfers to emergency cases only, stay informed on the evolution of the phenomena, on the measures to be adopted, on the procedures to be followed indicated by the territorial civil protection structures; furthermore, it is forbidden to cross torrents in flood either on foot or by any means, to stop near bridges and banks of torrents and/or rivers and to cross underpasses".
