The workers of the Igiene Urbana shipyard in Capoterra have called a strike for tomorrow. The reason is work-related stress, with Fp Cgil and Uiltrasporti explaining how the workers are "forced to resort to psychological therapies".

The unions have drawn up a long list: " Some vehicles used for collection or sweeping are not entirely efficient and the bathrooms flood when it rains and this affects their use ." Furthermore - Cgil and Uil explain - some problems have emerged: "On Sundays the staff is not used with the rotation principle, the service order is displayed daily and only after the workers have finished work, the pay slips are delivered with enormous delay, overtime is paid only in part and following the opening of the cooling-off and conciliation procedures."

And again the unions highlight in this last period «an excess of disciplinary disputes» and other problems «such as to create a strong malaise in the workers who increasingly resort to the institution of illness and the support of psychological therapies that have as an indication work-related stress».
