No to the regasification terminal in front of the Giorgino fishing village in Cagliari. "Sardinia out of the fossil" is the name of the procession organized for Saturday 15 April against the government's decision to authorize the Sardinia Lng project: it will start at 10 from Piazza del Carmine and arrive at the fishing village, various organizations and citizens' associations will be present .

The district committee is not a priori against regasification plants: « We are against the wicked idea of building it behind the houses. They don't leave us alone in this battle of civilization », explained Mariano Strazzeri during one of the last assemblies.

Among the parties at the moment there is the official adhesion of the Progressives : "We join the struggle of all the communities that defend their territory, their health, the possibilities of an eco-sustainable economy", reads a note from the regional councilors.

The Sardinia Lng project involves the construction of a LNG terminal in the port of Cagliari, consisting of a storage facility with a capacity of 22,000 cubic meters and one for the regasification of LNG .
