Sister against sister. A family conflict was the heart of a trial, yesterday in court in Sassari, which reached the point of discussion in which a 64-year-old accuses her relative, who is 4 years older, of threatening her in 2017 in Alghero by telling her: «I'll kill you, I'll throw acid in your face."

The disagreement between the two, as explained in the courtroom, dates back to 2008 and has resulted in other proceedings that have become final. For prosecutor Antonio Pala , "the strong common hatred" is the key to the relationship and its certainty, while there are no certain elements to consider one's version more credible than that of the other: for this reason he asked for acquittal because the proof is insufficient.

According to the lawyer of the offended party, Gionmaria Solinas, the safety of the sentences spoken exists. On the contrary, Edoardo Morette, the defendant's lawyer, highlighted the alleged contradictions and, in his opinion, the plaintiff's non-credibility emerged when she was heard at the hearing. Such as having asserted during the hearing that the family member was actually a half-sister, daughter of another father, or for having denied that there are sentences on the clash between the two and for having stated that the sister, at the age of 13, would have attempted to throw her from the Bastions.

For all these reasons the lawyer asked for acquittal because the fact does not exist. Judge Antonio Spanu postponed his replies and sentence until April.
