Terror runs through the email. But also on the cell phone and WhatsApp messages for a 53-year-old from a town in the Sassari hinterland, victim of alleged persecutory acts by her ex-partner.

Repeated conduct, according to the prosecution, which led to an indictment and a trial of which the first hearing was held today in court in Sassari before judge Paolo Bulla. There would be hundreds of harassments and threats that a 60-year-old non-Sardinian would have sent to the woman, from the end of 2022 until today , both by email and on the telephone with messages such as "I will destroy you", "You are a s...", " You're finished!

The epithets addressed to the ex-partner were harsh such as: "Cows and tr... like you must start cleaning only the toilets."

Offenses that put the woman in a constant state of anxiety also because on one occasion her ex-partner was waiting for her outside the house to shout at her and on another he entered the 53-year-old's courtyard, uprooting the fence and destroying the flowers that had given the accused's mother.

The lawyer Rosanna Macciocu defended the man while the woman joined the civil action with the lawyer Sabrina Mura. The prosecutor is Paolo Piras and the next hearing will take place at the beginning of next year.
